To be a vegan or to not be a vegan?
Everyone has heard about people who don't eat meat, and spiritual leaders everywhere insist on no meat diets, but why? If your someone who enjoys a nice steak this will seem almost criminal to you. Yet, more and more people, including doctors and spiritual teachers everywhere encouraging people to eat more greens.
Most people who don't eat meat have a higher vibrational pattern than someone who does, whether or not they are aware of it or not. When you are vibrating at a higher rate you are more aware of the energy that flows through your body. The food we eat carries vibrational patterns of what ever it is you ate. So if you eat a steak you are getting vibrational patterns from that cow and today's world most cows don't come from a natural state of vibration, meaning most the cows we eat come from unnatural environments where they are under a lot of stress and forced into a state of resistance. When we are in a state of resistance we are unhappy. So someone who is more aware of the energy that flows through them would eat the cow and that resistance the cow experienced in its life would cause that person to feel unstable and throw off their energy, thus they will start to refuse meat. The issue is that when we adapted this ability, It was simply to survive.
I'm sure many of you our wondering where I got this idea and I didn't find it anywhere it is just something that happened to me. When I first started becoming interested in my own personal energy something happened to my diet. I was raising my vibration and at the time was unaware it would effect my diet, or I was more in a state of denial, either way I didn't think I would eat different. Then pork started making me sick, then beef, and sometimes even chicken, and I LOVE CHICKEN!!! That is when I found a video about how what we eat effects or energy. Even after that I couldn't just stop eating meat and dairy, I loved them to much so instead I tried eating more deer and elk. I buy organic milk, eggs and, cheese and try to by meat from cleaner more naturally structured companies that give animals more freedom. This has helped me eliminate some of that negative energy in meat and I still get to eat my favorite foods. Though someday I wish to eliminate meat from my diet all together.
To me it doesn't matter what diet you choose as long as it works for you. Though I would highly recommend we all start caring about the way we process our meat and how those places are run. No animal should have to suffer and if you are like me and are some who is very sensitive to energy in and around you it becomes hard to ignore.
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, my challenge for you is try to focus on what your body is telling you as you eat. Just by putting your focus on this, the more aware you will become of how your energy reacts to the energy it received from food. Most of us this gobble it up and don't really pay attention to the different sensations that occur while we eat. You might find that certain foods resistant with your energy better than others and this can help motivate you to eat healthier. In fact you really wont have much choice, once you start paying attention to energy you cant just make it go away. In truth you don't have to be Vegan to have a health and well balanced diet. You just need be be aware of what you eat. Avoid things like processed foods and GMOs.

Genetically modified organisms (GMO)
Unfortunately, the plants we grow for food may not be so safe either. The reason so many are pushing for people to buy organic fruits and vegetables is due to genetically modified organisms or GMO's. Although its not a new technology, very few know about the process and the fact there has been few experiments on the way this food effects us long term, and the ones we have done have showed horrifying results.
GMO are plants that DNA is altered by taking DNA from a form of bacteria and adding it into the DNA of that plant. They do this by using a tiny gun like device that shoots the DNA into the cells of the plants on tiny microscopic pieces of gold. Yes GOLD. This gives the plant the ability to withstand Round-Up and other harsh pesticides, So the LAZY farmers don't have to pick weeds. Test done on rats show that GMO can cause cancer and infertility in rats over a long period of time.
Sounds criminal right? How could they do this? Well........
It seems to me that people have forgotten how important it is to make sure we eat right. Corporations, as well as the government, no longer seem to care about if the food they make is healthy for us as long as it, fast, easy, and makes them lots of money. Though its not entirely their fault. Instead of fighting for change by blaming the corporations and the government, we need to take charge of our own health. Stop buying GMOs and stop buying from corporate slaughter houses. If you don't give them your money they can't use it to do more harm.
Their is no right or wrong "spiritual diet". There are people who are unaware of the effects of food and have little concern about what they eat and their are people who are very aware of what they eat and eat based on how it effects their overall health. The choice is yours and there really isn't a right or wrong answer, simply a different perspective.
